School Readiness Council

The School Readiness Council is a joint Council with Scotland. The council meets each third Tuesday of the month (unless otherwise posted). The council meets to review the budgets of each preschool program, address policy needs and function as a governing board for the School Readiness Funds from the Grant. The meetings are public and all are welcome.

Hampton School Readiness and Quality Enhancement Request for Proposals

The Town of Hampton is soliciting proposals for the development and/ or operation of School Readiness Programs or contracted spaces for three and four year old children for early care and education in Hampton.  Proposals are being solicited pursuant to Sec. 10-16o. – 10-16r and Sec. 10-16t. – 10-16u. CGS and amendments under PA 99-230, the School Readiness and Child Day Care Grant Program. Programs and services must meet local School Readiness Council policies. The town is also soliciting proposals for The Quality Enhancement Grant pursuant to CGS Sec. 17b-749c, Quality Enhancement Grant Program.  Programs and/or services are from July 1, 2017 – June 30, 2018.

Proposals for programs must be received by email to no later than 4:00 p.m. on April 17, 2017.
